Logan's Roadhouse, 630 Shedeck Parkway, Yukon- June 11, 2011

IrmasThe first time I visited a Logan's Roadhouse, I had a hard time throwing the peanut hulls on the floor. But piling them on the table wasn't any better, and it wasn't nearly as much fun. Now, I toss 'em with the best. The never-ending peanuts and made-from-scratch yeast rolls are stables at Logan's. Being the thrifty, practical group that we are, the 5 Star Dinner Club decided to try the 2 full meals for $13.99. We came early, so being seated was no problem, and our young waitress was proficient and personable. Our orders varied from pork chops, bacon and cheddar encrusted sirloin, wood-grilled chicken, grilled meatloaf, and steak. Sides included baked potatoes, salads, mac and cheese, skewered veggies, and brewski onions (excellent). The mac and cheese was rated high along with the chicken. The only negatives were the steak was tasty but tough and the grilled meatloaf was suffocated by onions. All in all, though, most of the group enjoyed their meal, and you certainly can't beat the price! Logan's received a rating of 3.5 stars.
